Thanks for thw warm welcome!

no no. Your English is very good! My French however is very bad- hence me using an online translator.

ah no. The ID is not mine nor is the H van. I’m only 21 wink. They were both in the garage at the same time as my BX. The garage i use specialises in Citroens and vehicle restoration. Although my mechanic, Graham, can do anything really. Right now he is fixing my dad's 1991 Audi Coupe! Graham also has a Type 23 Citroen lorry which he has carefully restored himself.

I don’t know much about the ID, it is RHD so i would guess Slough built. But it was missing its front end!! It was having its door bottoms welded. (as seen in the photo). There are meant to be a few RHD H vans on the road but I’ve never seen one. The H van is being restored and had been stripped before being sandblasted.

What I would really like to know is the term for the 'rear quarter lights' tinted rear windows' in French, so then I’ll know what I should be asking for!! Also are the phase 2 BX rear quarter lights still available? If so how much and where?

I really need them as I have all the other parts and would really like to get the car into the garage. At the moment it’s pretty undrivable because the seats have collapsed. These seats are a rare early type, in the UK at least. Are they rare in France? I’m going to replace them with the slightly later tweed effect trim.
