Microsoft: New Windows scheduled task will launch Office apps fasterBleepingComputer​In May, Microsoft plans to roll out a new Windows scheduled task that launches automatically to help Microsoft Office apps load faster.

Microsoft says this is an optional feature, and users who want to turn it off can do so by going to Options > General in the Office app settings and unchecking Startup Boost.

While you can toggle it off, Microsoft added that it will be enabled again by the Office Installer each time you deploy a new Office update.

Après, tout ça est assez théorique : je ne pense pas que ReactOS en soit arrivé à un niveau de fiabilité suffisant pour que quelqu'un l'utilise en production.

Si c'est le cas c'est quand-même un peu triste. Et quel est l'intérêt ? On peut imaginer qu'un jour un grand groupe puisse vouloir investir dedans s'ils y trouvent une stratégie de positionnement.
