New category - Page 1

I know this is not a newbie question, but I think there is missing a categorie(? not sure of this word) and there is nowhere to put ideas for the forum

We have

ASM
C
TI-Basic, but there is not a general programming aka where we can speak of general thing like how work the VATFAT but not in a specific language.

What do you think about that ?

Hmm... You're talking about a general "algorithms & optimisation" category (or something like that) ? I think it's a good idea

not only for algorithms & optimisation, but for discussing about something about the hardware of the TI like how the port works, or how making grayscale etc...

more simple, somewhere we can speak about things that are not direclty related to ASM, C or TI-BASIC, but are related to programmation

Yes, and I think this board is a better place for general discussions than the TICT / TIGCC's one. But please, this is definitly not the subject of this thread

Look at the title : "New category". Don't you think you're totaly off-topic ? I do. And I don't really appreciate this personal attack... Maybe this topic should be shown on TICT HQ, so the users can see how narrowminded you really are.

I think hardware projects can be posted in Misc for now, and if they become really numerous they'll have their own category, but there's no real need for such a category right now IMHO.
