Bonjour !

You should speak in english because google translations are so bad I can't understand your post grin

alrighy then actually i was using worldlingo google was just translating from french to english. everyone else is speaking french but this is by far the most active ti forum. what is up with all the french 68k coders?

4

Well, it's very hard to explain...

Just learn that some coders decided to went apart from other coders grin
(C'est marrant de voir ça de la part d'un anglais (anglophone) parce que ce troll de jibax a dit que etc etc etc)

5

why are there not many french z80 coders? btw do you mind a american infiltrating your sacred forums?

6

btw do you mind a american infiltrating your sacred forums?

Well, being American is no problem smile
(not every one here speaks real good english... but, generally, we understand it not too bad smile )

gimpynerd> I guess that's because of what type of calculators are allowed at exams; in France, many people have 68k calculators because when 68k calculators are forbidden, z80 calculators are too, while in the US, it's common to have exams where only calculators with symbolic calculus are forbidden...

naPO> je crois que t'as pas tres bien compris ce qu'il disait, il demandait juste pkoi il y avait autant de francais ^^ (rien a voir avec ti-gen, si c'est ce que tu sous-entends)

Hello! I am a TI programmer and enthusiastic English. I know only three years of French and AM speaking with you using a translator. I look at the page by Google translate. Please not be unaware of me. I have a question: why is it that the French program for the computers 68K so much?

i used my 89Ti on my AP Calculus and AP Physics Exams...

Hi gimpynerd. i've the same point of view of Squale92 : i don't relly speak good english but i can understand what you're talking about. About 68k programming, I guess it's just a society fact (I'm not sure of this expression #roll) ans it seems that Ti68k are more powerful than z80 and you know ..Frenchies like powerful ... grin Without jokes, I really think thaht it's just because French teenagers prefer have a calculator which can check if a result is right (in formal calculus).

What a shame !! gni Lots of french foroms are quite active wink I think you can ask some questions in english here but I don't know if the webmaster or administrators will let you flood this forom with English wink
You know nothing in French or you can speak English a little. Because the French studies english in 68k programming by reading/writing tutorials or comments (in code) so you can try to learn French with the same method.

PS : I don't if you can easily understand me : the fact is in school we don't speak English a lot so I don't know if I make mistakes or if I very comprehensive..

There's an English board for TIs too on yAronet : forums/489
Although it's not really active because most of us prefer to ask their questions in French, you'll probably be able to get an answer if you create a topic there smile

18

since the only calc i currently own is a 89Ti i thought i might want to visit this site...

19

to easien the task make sure you use forums/2-ti instead of forums/2-ti smile

there is also forums/493 but its mostly a help forum and I dont know if they are very good in english grin

I'll need to bug them so they could have a MLC section once MLC 83+ (and 68k) will come out cheeky

it's Big Ben, not Big Bern ^^
I think you should feel free to post in english in any foreign forums: people are usually happy to see that their forum attracts people from other countries happy
