
The VDP-16 is my "fantasy console". It's a virtual 16 bit game console with its API in Javascript and its visual editor, so that you can program simple truly retro games and learn about the history of games, the techniques of the time.

I'm also making a pre-packed version for Windows and Mac, that include everything so that you can get started quickly:

On Windows: just extract the zip (you can use 7-zip), and run the .exe inside the folder.
On Mac: extract the 7z (you can use Keka), then open a terminal and move into the folder and type ./vdp16-contained (the file cannot be run directly as macOS executes it in the wrong folder).
