J'en avais déjà parlé dans ALternative Pocket 2 :

Tapwave has just announced that their handheld hardware, codenamed Helix, will be coming to the US in october under the official name Zodiac. The october date is likely in order to compete directly with Nokia's N-Gage, and might actually fare quite nicely given the more robust specs, and nearly carbon copy list of developers.

It's retailing for $299, with preorders beginning September. It uses a modified Palm OS 5.2.6, had analog control, plays MP3s, movie files (various types), and according to the press release, you can use it to manage your life, which would be nice. It uses an ATI Imageon graphic processor, bluetooth, stereo speakers and has two ports for SD Cards, multimedia cards, and SDIO peripherals. They're trying to push an 'indy developer' angle, claiming 400 companies expressing interest in developing for the system. Bear in mind that many of these will simply be developers of games for PDAs, which the Zodiac will support out of the box. More info to come, I'm sure.

Mine de rien c'est un petit projet qui peut aller loin avec toute la communauté Palm derrière...
