Fatal error ? - Page 1

Hello guys!!!
I have a (small?) problem with my TI-89 Titanium calc.
When I run the game CF, it works fine until i have to go out
of cronos house. Then after a loading screen, I get the "FATAL ERROR memory overflow !"

I dont understand why!, is it because I have a Titanium?, or is it because I dont have enough
memory?(I have 165K free!!!!)

Please help, It is a great game - until i reach the door!!!!!

Try to archive all your progs and datas to have as free mem as possible.

Hehe, I tried. I have about 170k free mem now....but then I have to archive cf and the libs(for the 170k free mem).
Can that be a fault ?? personly I dont think so!

Can't you have more than 170ko of free ram ?
Archiving all the files isn't a fault as far as I know ...

The FlashApps are eating up all that RAM. Try deleting the ones you don't use.

Which kernel ? 170K should be more than enought.
Is it 170K of RAM or of ROM ?
Did you run it under a shell?

I use Iceberg (and hw3patch), but i have tried with PreOS 0.7!
and it is 170k ROM, I guessed that flashram didnt matter...?

btw. when i load cf now, the screen is too "big", if u understand! its líke the screen has been pushed to the right side, so for example i cant see the stairs in cronos house...and another thing is that the letters is much bigger than they usually are...

Hmmm... PpHd, is CF very stack-hungry? The screen saving in Iceberg might be the cause of the problem if that's it.

n00n> Looks like it's misdetecting the Titanium as a TI-92+. Maybe patching it with GhostBuster will help? Otherwise, PreOs 0.70 is probably the way to go.

1. Did you patch the program with GhosBuster?
2. Did you try with Preos 0.70? (You should get a "preos 0.70 installed" message).
3. CF is quite stack hungry: during the game the free stack size is ~3Kb.
4. Did you send the 92+ version or the 89 version?
5. Are you sure it is the v3.36 and not the one with all the other files?

No, you need 150K of free RAM. And archive all the files of CF.

But I have above the limit and the files are archived?
