I'm an italian student and two week ago i've bought a ti 89 titanium. Probaly i have cancelled od de-cheked someting so when i trie to do somthing with the variable x it doesn't work .the error is "error Non-algebraic variable in expression". The calculator work correctly with y z t dut it wiew x like a constant !!

Did you try to delete the variable "x" ?

Try to see var x in the var link ( [2nd] [-] )
If x is archived or locked, unarchive/unlock it.
After, delete x.
