We are happy to welcome you at Noise demoparty website! Noise is a traditional Easter Atari demoparty. This time it's going to held in Slovak Republic (Slovakia) and for all Atari machines (from XL/XE to Falcon)

Why did we decide to organise this party? Since nobody from traditional demoparty organizers from Germany, France, Netherlands, ... seems to be interested in organisation of such Atari Easter demoparty, we did do it so. We want some one each year, don't we?

Noise will take place at Easter 2006 in Kosice/Slovakia (do NOT mess up with Slovenia, Czech Republic, Poland and so on It's the second biggest city in Slovakia, located at the east of our country. There is a train/car/plane connection (see Travelling for details).

Since we want to organise DEMO party, there will be some prizes. We are able to invest around 2500 Euros for prizes (hardware-like mainly: LCDs, DVD writers, HDDs, USB keys, ...) and organisation (party place etc)

Are you reading all this stuff and have no sense what demoparty means? The demoparties are meetings on some regular base when people around computers and demoscene meet, talk and generally have a good time. The demoscene is, in short, everything you can make on a computer that looks good, sounds good or it is just cool. And Atari demoscene is part of this scene, too. And of course, we all love Atari computers since they are one of the most interesting and exciting computers on the world Good reading about demoscene basics is on Hugi website. So if you never meet any demoscener, you have a great chance to do so!
