Oh, and by the way, I speak absolutely no French. The only other language I speak is Spanish, y solamente un poco.

No, sorry. Nobody knows when the next beta will come out.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand the way the cf battle system works at all. The only other turn-based rpg I've ever played is FF (and Paper Mario, but I don't think that counts) and cf's system is nothing like Final Fantasy. Would anyone mind explaining it to me, please? (insert insult here........)

PpHd Le 03/03/2004 à 10:13 Try playing Chrono Trigger.
You can play it on the super nes :]

I'm on a boat motherfucker, don't you ever forget
Just try looking for snes9x emulator in Google and Chrono Trigger rom
By the way, no offense, but I don't think it is so difficult to understand how the battle system works.
Just try to use every single action you can do and check the result.
Basis are : Attack, Objects (Heal, Magic upgrade, ...), etc ...
Nothing really complicated and the icons are are well drawn.

I prefer zsnes ... did you check the sound settings in the sound menu ?

jer8683 > ZSnes has no sound by default, you must go in the sound settings.
And I prefer Snes9x: for the latest versions, Snes9x is better than ZSnes. Several years ago, ZSnes didn't need a powerful computer,
it could run on a P133 32 Mo quite well (66% of the game framerate at least), whereas now with WinXP a P2 266 64 Mo the same game
runs at 16% of the framerate. I know many things were added like a working transparency but... the main feature of ZSnes was the
little power you needed to make it run, now things have changed, you should use Snes9x (or an old version of ZSnes if you have a small
CPU)
On my calc (TI92+, AMS 2.09), many kernel games require a hack which is done by the Flash App "SuperStart".
If it doesn't work with only PreOS installed, install SuperStart too, it will work.

PpHd Le 21/03/2004 à 11:06 Yes snes9x and zsnes run the same files.
PpHd Le 22/03/2004 à 09:14 WinXp doesn't allow DOS programs to go at full speed.
Link Le 22/03/2004 à 11:30 so he must use the win32 version of zsnes...
That makes me think my version of ZSnes is old... I should download a more recent one... in both win and DOS versions...

Maintenant j'ai la flemme de garder une signature à jour sur ce site. Je n'ai même plus ma chaîne Exec sous la main.
jer8683 > No, a P3 500 with 64 Mb is enough to go at fulll speed and improve many things.
But with XP, more CPU speed is needed... but I guess that on this computer it won't change anything,
the games will run at 100% of the SNES framerate.

And now for something completely off the subject...
Does anybody know why nothing's been done with the FAT Raycasting Engine? I was really looking forward to some of the things that it could do. I downloaded a demo called Corridor92 a while ago, but have never seen anything else for the FAT. Any comments? Corrections? Insults?
